Maintenance & Care
How do I maintain my new tile?
Regular maintenance is simple: sweep or vacuum regularly to remove grit, mop with a pH-neutral cleaner, and clean grout periodically. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive scrubbers. Seal natural stone and grout as recommended (typically every 1-2 years). We provide specific care instructions based on your tile type.
How long should tile last?
Quality tile, properly installed and maintained, can last 50+ years. Ceramic and porcelain are extremely durable. Natural stone may require more maintenance but also lasts decades. The key factors are proper installation (especially waterproofing in wet areas) and regular maintenance.
Can damaged tiles be repaired or replaced?
Yes! We offer tile repair services for cracked, chipped, or damaged tiles. Individual tiles can often be replaced if you have matching extras (we always recommend keeping leftover tiles). We can also repair damaged grout and reseal surfaces.
